Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with receiving shipments, preparing orders, maintaining inventory, and supporting daily warehouse operations. This position plays a key role in ensuring our supply chain runs smoothly and safely.

Location

This position will be located at our warehouse in Scarborough (Birchmount and Lawrence).

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for receiving and inspecting products, accurately labeling items and reporting any discrepancies in reconciliation of deliveries and invoices.
  • Responsible for organizing and storing all incoming products in assigned locations.
  • Picks inventory to assemble orders of product, supplies equipment for requisitions.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures to meet accuracy and production standards.
  • Load, unload and transport products and materials to different areas of the warehouse and Project site.
  • Responsible for conducting routine physical inventory counts based on established location schedules.
  • Accurately complete administrative duties including records such as inventory count documents, equipment inspections, this may be on paper or in a technology-based system
  • Clean work areas as assigned, including but not limited to loading dock and delivery areas when applicable.
  • Implement all safety policies, OSHA requirements and emergency procedures.
  • Use all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
  • Takes appropriate measures to ensure the security of materials and company assets.
  • Interact with employees about business-related activities and attend meetings, as required.

Qualifications

  • Must be over 18 years of age
  • High school education or equivalent is preferred
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Hold a G license and provide a driver abstract
  • Able to lift to 50 lb frequent lifting and/or carrying objects weighing up to 35 lb
  • Certified forklift operator is an asset
  • Safety footwear required.
  • This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking & standing. This role requires the usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). #LI-IS1

  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies.

  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required.
