The salary range for this role is $67,040.00 to $83,800.00. Base salaries are determined during our interview process, by assessing a candidate’s experience, skills against internal peers and against the scope and responsibilities of the position.
This opportunity is an up to 18-months contract position , with an estimated end date of March 2027 . Please note that contract roles do not include additional monetary benefits or health care coverage .
Position Summary Develop, implement, and maintain good operating practices for a grain elevator facility. Support the orderly and efficient flow of materials through the grain elevator as well as support roles to Distillery Management. Committed to achieving excellence in quality, health and safety, the environment and product safety. This position will work closely with the Manufacturing team and third party grain vendor, as well as the engineering team to accomplish these objectives.

- OHSA - Ensure compliance of Occupational Health & Safety Act (section 25, 26, 27, and 28) per Hiram Walker & Son’s Ltd Policy- Management-Supervision-Worker Safety Responsibilities.

Required Skills & Abilities
- Problem Solving and lean manufacturing concepts
- In-depth knowledge of operation and maintenance of grain elevator
- Health and Safety regulations
- Experience working in a Unionized environment with a strong understanding of Collective Agreements
- Strong Communication skills
- Accident/Incident investigation
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a supervisory role
- Production systems including E1, GrainSmart and others such as Kronos
- 5 years equivalent experience with lean concepts
Education
- Required: Undergraduate Degree
Financial Responsibility
- Participates in goal setting and accountable for own, limited budget for asset administration and goals. Operates in predetermined limits.
