In IT audit at PwC, you will focus on helping to assess and evaluate the design and effectiveness of an organisation's IT systems and controls to provide compliance with regulations and mitigate risks.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of You will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative solutions that empower our financial services clients to effectively manage their financial and non-financial risks – while driving superior customer outcomes and achieving their strategic goals. This area represents a critical growth area for our firm, offering you a unique opportunity to be at the forefront of expanding our advisory services during this period of significant change.
Your Responsibilities Will Include:
- Performing your work efficiently while meeting established timelines and budgets.
- Maintain ongoing communication with engagement leaders to ensure clarity, quality, and proper follow‑up of deliverables.
- Clearly and concisely documenting evidence gathered and validating its quality and relevance.
- Analyzing the impact of identified control deficiencies on financial data and on the overall audit strategy.
- Building and maintaining collaborative relationships with internal teams and clients.
- Staying up to date on trends in risk management, regulation, governance, data, emerging technologies, and analytics.
- Identifying opportunities to promote the firm’s services to new clients or deepen existing client relationships.
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve:
- Enrolled in post-secondary education and working to obtain the Canadian CPA required prerequisite courses
- Intellectual curiosity: a willingness to challenge the status quo, test assumptions, and seek the best solutions.
- Creativity and critical thinking to solve complex regulatory and risk management issues, while tailoring solutions to client needs.
- Humility, openness to feedback, and receptiveness to coaching.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
- An interest in financial services, engineering, the public sector, or related fields (an asset, but not required).
- A passion for how modern methods and technologies (data, analytics, automation) can improve organizational performance.
- An understanding of management principles, operational efficiency, and core risk management concepts.
- Comfort with research, analysis, and synthesizing information from multiple sources.
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and willingness to learn additional tools or platforms.
- A growth mindset and a strong desire to continuously develop new skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail.

- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
