Job Description Summary You will be a part of Grid Automation (GA) North America Region (NAM) Order-to-Remittance (OTR) team. You will be responsible for developing integrated reports to support GA NAM region identify opportunities for duty refund, prepare the necessary documents for refund submission from multiple sources, execute and track all submissions until refund payments are received. Through integrated reporting and tracking tools, you will also support the analysis on tariff impact on GA NAM and cost recovered through refund.
This full-time role will be based in our office in Markham Ontario, the will be expected to work onsite in our Markham office Monday-Thursday each week.
Job Description Essentials Responsibilities
- Obtain logistic reports from multiple sources and integrate into one central report on a regular basis
- Identify transactions that are eligible to duty refund under USMCA agreement
- Obtain all necessary supporting documents to file the claims
- Collaborate with 3rd party service provider and customs brokers to submit the claims
- Track and update claims submitted until refund is received
- Support tariff’s impact assessment and cost recovered through refunds
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 year of proven track record in a professional work environment with related experience
- Proven organizational skills and demonstrated ability to be detail oriented
- Expertise in MS Excel and comfortable working with large dataset
- Prior work experience in corporate environment
- Have legal authorization to work in Canada and be aware that any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a pre-employment verification
Desired Characteristics
- Relevant experience in logistics, customs operation, warehouse
- Experience building integrated report using PowerBI
- Experience with SAP ERP systems
- Ability to work with complex dataset and display analysis in a impactful way
- Demonstrated ability to work with minimum supervision
