Grimsby Hyundai is currently seeking a self-starting, team oriented Prepper to join their dynamic team.

Here’s What You’ll Deliver

• Ensure all vehicles scheduled to be painted are masked and covered before the painting technician receives the vehicle.
• Responsible for repairing the exterior of the vehicle with sanding, mudding, or any other blemishment repair techniques required to apply paint.
• Prime vehicles as required.
• Work in strict compliance with the Laws of the Province of Ontario and Canada including, but not limited to, the Employment Standards Act (ESA) and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
• Understand and comply with all federal, provincial and local regulations that affect service operations, such as the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA), waste disposal regulations, etc.
• Other duties as required by management.

What do you need to succeed?

• Less than 1 year of experience in Automotive body work servicing.
• Willing to train in sanding, mudding, and other necessary exterior body work repair techniques.
• Able to multitask in a fast paced environment.
• Excellent computer and communication skills.
• Demonstrated commitment and willingness to learn and succeed.
• Able to bring vehicles to high qualities of interior/exterior cleanliness.
• Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Must be team oriented, hardworking with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Job Type: Full Time - Permanent

Compensation: $21.00 - $25.00 an hour
