#About Our Opportunity
Family Services Employee Assistance Program (FSEAP) provides clinical counselling services to employees of client organizations who may be experiencing problems in their personal, family, or work lives. In addition, the program provides several organizational services to its corporate clients, including workplace consulting, training, and critical incident stress management responses. As a social enterprise of Family Services of Greater Vancouver (FSGV), FSEAP is a fee-generating business, with all its profits going to support the larger work of FSGV and the Greater Vancouver community.
Working within the mission, vision, values and person-centred philosophy of the Agency, the Receptionist and Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing consistent reception and clerical support to FSEAP program, the FSEAP program manager, staff and clients, as well as FSGV programs on the 3rd floor. In addition to typical reception duties, this role assists in daily data entry and administrative / office management tasks.

#What do you need to succeed?
#Education, Training, Experience
- Grade 12 Diploma
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in an administrative position
Role Qualifications and Skills include, but are not limited to:

Good office-based administrative skills and data management

Demonstrated expertise with MSWord, Excel, Outlook, Internet and database software skills

Pleasant, calm manner and ability to relate well to all clients and professionals, in person and on the phone, while working in a fast-paced environment

Problem-solving skills

Effective organizational skills with the ability prioritize and adapt to changing demands

Careful attention to details
-
Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a collaborative team

Effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to liaise with external suppliers

Discretion, with an understanding of the need for confidentiality , at all times
