The Opportunity:
Scope of the position
The Technical Analyst – Systems Integration is responsible for designing, implementing, and improving automation workflows, API integrations, and system interoperability across the organization’s SaaS, cloud, and enterprise platforms.
This role focuses on reducing manual effort across the organization, improving data consistency, and enhancing operational efficiency through scalable, reliable, and secure integration solutions. The analyst operates proactively, identifying inefficiencies, risks, and gaps in systems and processes, and implements pragmatic technical and procedural improvements.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Proactively identify inefficiencies in technical systems and operational processes, and recommend improvements
- Build and manage API and data integrations and automation workflows to enable secure, reliable data exchange between internal and external systems such as Workato, Shopify, Auth0, Freshservice, and Microsoft Fabric
- Administer user and group lifecycle management, including onboarding, offboarding, and role changes, ensuring secure and consistent access across all systems
- Manage core cloud services including SharePoint, Exchange, and Azure resources, while maintaining governance over identity (Entra ID), enterprise applications, and access structures
- Identify and prioritize automation opportunities that reduce manual effort and improve process efficiency
- Develop reusable integration patterns and standards to support scalability and reliability
- Manage Azure resources and automation capabilities, including Azure Automation
- Monitor platform performance, service health, and operational readiness across cloud services
- Administer and automate user and group lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, and role transitions
- Oversee certificate lifecycle management for users and devices to ensure secure authentication and trust
- Leverage PowerShell, APIs, and automation tooling to standardize processes and workflows
- Improve auditability, consistency, and repeatability of IT operations through automation
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for automation processes and system integrations
- Independently assess risk and implement proportionate technical and procedural controls
Skills and Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in systems integration and automation
- Significant experience with REST APIs and Automation Platforms (Workato, Azure Automation)
- Experience managing Microsoft 365 and Azure environments
- Experience with Microsoft Fabric data pipelines and lakehouse architectures
- Strong PowerShell Scripting and Infrastructure-as-Code Skills
- Strong understanding of identity and access management concepts (Entra ID / OAuth / SSO)
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Automation-focused certifications from Microsoft or Workato considered an asset

The target salary range for this position is $65,000 - $82,000 CAD. The pay range for this position is a general guideline only. The salary will depend on internal pay equity and the candidate's relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and job market data.
