About the role
The Opportunity Join Hitachi Energy Canada and support the team that lead projects that power a sustainable future. You’ll work closely with diverse teams, assist in organizing tasks, and help maintain timelines and documentation. How You’ll Make An Impact
- Define project guidelines and allocate tasks to internal and external teams.
- Motivate and monitor resources to achieve milestones.
- Provide performance feedback on project progress.
- Develop project plans including scope, financials, schedule, and risk management.
- Ensure execution aligns with best practices and company policies.
- Monitor financials: invoicing, costs, expenses, and cash flow.
- Identify and manage risks and opportunities.
- Capture and share lessons learned; ensure formal project close-out.
- Apply contract and claims management per company policies.
- Coordinate procurement with Supply Chain Management.
- Act as key contact for customers and manage stakeholder relationships.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
- Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field.
- Proven experience in project management within energy or industrial sectors.
- Strong knowledge of planning, scheduling, and risk management.
- Financial acumen with experience in cost control and cash flow management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive results.
- Candidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in Canada.
