Job Description:
- Full time availability Monday to Friday during business hours
- Provide exceptional customer service
- Answering phone and email inquiries, pricing requests and orders
- Generate quotations and product delivery dates and follow up
- Entering customer orders into the company software and picking orders
- Handle cash, debit, credit card transactions
- Learn and maintain a basic knowledge of all product lines
- Offer knowledge on how best to assist customers when choosing appropriate products
- Provide sales support for outside sales representatives
- Restock inventory as required and maintain a safe and clean work area
- Work effectively with other members of the team
- Various other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- A minimum of one year of customer service experience
- Electrical industry experience would be a strong asset
- Knowledge of electrical products and their applications would be an asset
- Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Professional, responsible, punctual and reliable
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to multitask with excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Able to take direction and solve problems
- Experience with computer systems
- Desire to provide excellent customer service
- High School Diploma required, some post-secondary education would be an asset
