We are currently seeking experienced Apprentice Plumbers/Gasfitters to join our growing team. This is a unique opportunity to work in a variety of remote locations (nationwide), offering great pay, benefits, and long-term career growth.
What We Offer
Competitive Wage: $23.10–$47.00 per hour, based on experience Overtime Pay: Opportunities for additional earnings Camp Accommodations: Provided for remote work assignments Tuition Reimbursement: Support for continued education and certification Room for Growth: Career development and advancement opportunities Work-Life Balance: 21 days on, 7 days off rotation Potential Weekly Earnings: Up to $4150 (gross)
Key Responsibilities
Install and service plumbing and gas systems in remote camps Work with PVC, HDPE, PEX, and ABS piping materials Diagnose, install, and repair plumbing fixtures, pipes, and drainage systems Test systems for leaks and perform necessary repairs Ensure compliance with local and provincial safety regulations Install, maintain, and troubleshoot gas lines and propane systems, ensuring adherence to safety codes Replace non-compliant equipment to meet current safety standards Maintain a clean, organized worksite and uphold high standards of quality and safety
Job Requirements
Journeyman: must have their Journeyman Ticket Apprentices: must be enrolled in or have completed a plumbing/gasfitting apprenticeship program Skills & Abilities: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Excellent communication skills (oral and written) Attention to detail and precision in all tasks Ability to work effectively as part of a team Physical Requirements: Ability to lift over 50 lbs and work in various conditions Other Requirements: Valid Driver's License (preferred) Willingness to travel 100% to remote locations Ability to depart from Edmonton, Alberta Willingness to travel 100% of the time for work assignments
