Position Overview:
Under the general direction of the Work Management Technology Optimization Team Lead, leading technical support, maintenance,
and improvement to Work Management technology to optimize system performance and utilization. The position will act as a
business representative on projects delivering technical upgrades, new functionality and/or technology to ensure that operational
requirements are clearly defined and that all technical solutions meet business and stakeholder needs. This position will bridge the
technical needs of the business with D&T experts and key stakeholders within Operations, Asset Management, Finance, HR, Supply
Chain, Project Management and Customer Service. This is a term position with an approximate duration of 6 to 12 months.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the maintenance & improvement of work management technologies to optimize system performance and utilization,
including technical upgrades and introducing new functionality and/or technology.
- Act as a business representative on inter-disciplinary project teams or initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with IT design principles, standardized work management processes & standards and asset information
standards while promoting alignment to corporate goals and strategic initiatives
- Coordinate and monitor the evaluation, prioritization and management of enhancements or the creation of new work
management technologies. Facilitate client working groups as required.
- Provide consultative advice and expertise to client groups at all levels of the corporation, with respect to complex business
system requirements while coordinating between business stakeholders, providing quality assurance and adherence to work
management principles and asset information standards.
- Implement cross-functional work management technology, processes and other standards associated with the work
management framework and Asset Information Strategy in collaboration with subject matter experts and stakeholders.
- Monitor performance against service level agreements and associated metrics for numerous Work Management technologies
and their integrations and take appropriate actions to ensure that performance expectations are being met with a focus on
excellent customer service.
- Collaborate with the Work Management Department, stakeholders, and internal IT specialists to ensure Work Management
user's needs, concerns, and improvement opportunities are considered and/or addressed by coordinating requirements for
work management technology and inputs into Digital and Technology.
- Lead cross-functional teams resolving complex technical issues related to problem resolution, enhancements, technical
upgrades and deployment of new functionality or technology solutions.
- Monitor standard programs, practices, procedures, and processes related to general client support for numerous enterprise
Work Management technologies and their integrations with a focus on ensuring effective communication is occurring among
all team members, customers, and stakeholders and providing excellent customer service.
- Stay abreast of new technologies and tools that may provide efficiencies and advancements with respect to Work
Management.

Qualifications:
- Four year Bachelor degree (Computer Science, Commerce or a related discipline) from a recognized university plus a
minimum of five years of related experience in the maintenance and improvement of Work Management technology solutions;
OR
- Two year Diploma in Business Administration or related discipline from an institute of recognized standing plus a minimum of
seven years related experience in the maintenance and improvement of Work Management technology solutions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of existing Work Management technologies such as SAP for Utilities, CGI OpenGrid, GridOS,
Prometheus Scheduler and their functionality.
- Advanced knowledge of the Work Management business process framework.
- Demonstrated experience in the Plant Maintenance SAP Module will be considered an asset.
- Demonstrated experience in Project Management. A certificate in Project Management would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge of trends and developments in the fields of Enterprise Asset Management systems would be an asset.
- Ability to facilitate and lead cross functional teams at various levels across the corporation.
- Demonstrated track record of adherence to established processes, procedures, and standards.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare technical reports, presentations and communicate effectively at all levels of the corporation.
- An Institute of Asset Management Certificate in Asset Management would be considered an asset.
- Possess a high degree of initiative and demonstrates the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Demonstrated ability to plan, organize, and complete complex work assignments with minimum supervision.
- Strong communication (written, oral, presentation) skills and a high level of comfort, credibility, and confidence presenting
information to a variety of audiences at all levels of the corporation.
Salary Range
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The range for the classification is $43.35-$59.82 Hourly,
$83,070.78-$114,625.68 Annually.
