2025-146 Casual Property Caretaker – External

Job Summary:

The Property Caretaker functions as a resource to the Property Manager assisting with property maintenance of residential and office buildings. The incumbent will be responsible for keeping multiple buildings in a clean and orderly condition. All activities are carried out in support of the Agency’s mission, vision, values and strategic directions and in accordance with policies, procedures and relevant legislation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma

  • One (1) year of experience in a similar role preferably in a healthcare related environment

  • French Language proficiency considered an asset.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Organization skills to keep rooms, storage closets, and work van clean and organized
  • Effective interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and adhere to a schedule while being flexible to prioritize tasks
  • Ability to complete physically demanding tasks
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Understanding of mental health and addictions issues
  • Required to provide a satisfactory criminal reference check, including vulnerable sector screening, prior to hire
  • Must possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License and have regular access to a reliable vehicle and provide proof of $2,000,000 vehicle insurance. Incumbent may be required to transport clients.
