Job Posting Description: eCommerce Inventory Flow Manager (Contract) This is an Onsite role Secondment/Contract: Up to 5 months Are you passionate about Ecommerce with an eye for transformation? Reporting to the Director, Inventory Flow, you will effectively lead Ecommerce inventory flow across the LCBO supply chain network including the 3rd Party Logistics (3PL) facility. You will be responsible for inventory analysis, forecast and replenishment planning, review order quantities that are placed; monitor and measure performance and review processes to find opportunities to reduce cost or introduce continuous improvement.

About The Role
- Manage flow of Ecommerce inventory into, through and out of the 3PL facility
- Lead all aspects of Inventory Replenishment for the Durham Direct Vendor Program
- Supervise inventory performance (inventory turns, day’s supply, service levels, financial tracing and other key performance targets), including through peak periods; anticipates inventory problems and shortages
- Handle the inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels
- Identify slow moving and aged inventory and manage clearance and closeout process for discontinued items
- Prepare analysis to support seasonal inventory purchases, specifically Retail inventory build programs and gift programs
- Provide input into the LCBO Corporate Financial Plan through forecasting and analysis of inventory levels, trends and expenses
- Work with various internal and external partners (Ecommerce Marketing Team, Retail, the 3PL facility operator, Traffic and Customs, Quality Assurance) to ensure efficient, effective and optimized inventory management throughout the entire supply chain
- Analyze current practices and processes and identify and report on significant trends and business issues that can either improve or compromise the LCBO's ability to achieve its strategic objectives
About You
- Inventory management, distribution and operations skills and knowledge acquired through post-secondary education in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Finance or related field
- Experience in Merchandise Financial Planning and Forecasting will be an asset.
- Outstanding multi-disciplined business knowledge (business analysis, inventory management and control, and financial and operational management).
- Demonstrated leadership and management experience, along with strong negotiation skills and the ability to take educated risks.
- Well-developed analytical, problem-solving skills combined with well-developed communication (verbal and written) and interpersonal skills
- Dynamic inventory management experience, with emphasis on inventory management/planning and/or purchasing is required.
- Experience using inventory software applications, and skills vital to compile reports and prepare correspondence analytics utilizing Microsoft Office suite (MS Access, Excel Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) is preferred.
- Able to work under pressure and balance high volume workload with an outstanding attention to detail.
- Results-oriented and proactive; you work efficiently and collaboratively, as part of a team.
- Experience within a grocery or wholesaling environment and experience within the Alcoholic Beverage or Consumer Package Goods industry is an asset.
