Duties: Enterprise Architects bridge the gap between business needs and IT capabilities by designing architectures that support and enable business objectives. They ensure that technology investments align with the organization's strategic goals and priorities. Enterprise Architects establish and enforce architecture standards, principles, and best practices across the organization. This promotes consistency and interoperability between systems and reduces complexity, duplication, and technical debt.

In addition, Enterprise Architects assess the current technology landscape and identify opportunities to rationalize and optimize technology investments. By creating cohesive architectural blueprints and roadmaps, they help the organization maximize the value of its IT resources.

Qualifications: Essential: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. A combination of education and related work experience may be considered. Experience working in enterprise architecture or a senior architecture, strategy, or planning role within a complex IT environment Experience developing enterprise architecture strategies, roadmaps, or strategic planning deliverables. Knowledge of emerging technologies, including cloud, data, and AI, and their implications for enterprise architecture and governance Experience defining, implementing, and applying architecture principles, standards, guidelines, and governance processes Experience reviewing and providing guidance on architecture deliverables (e.g., solution or data architectures) Experience supporting enterprise planning activities such as application portfolio management, capability mapping, and technology rationalization Demonstrated ability to analyze business needs and translate them into architecture direction, models, or recommendations Excellent verbal communication with the ability to present to a variety of stakeholders. Strong interpersonal and influencing skills with the ability to work collaboratively across business and technology teams Desired: Enterprise architecture certification (e.g., TOGAF or equivalent) Experience using enterprise architecture tools or repositories (e.g., LeanIX, ArchiMate, or similar) Experience supporting business architecture activities such as capability modeling, value streams, or portfolio analysis
