Missions principales
- Assister à la conception mécanique 3D et à la modélisation des composants et des assemblages.
- Effectuer des analyses FEA pour évaluer l'intégrité structurelle et optimiser les conceptions.
- Soutenir les activités de fabrication métallique et de prototypage.
- Collaborer avec les ingénieurs à la validation des conceptions, à l'analyse des tolérances et aux essais.
- Contribuer à l'optimisation des coûts et des performances pour la fabricabilité.
Profil recherché
- Actuellement inscrit à un programme d'études en génie mécanique (fortement préféré) ou en génie civil
- La connaissance de Python, MATLAB ou C++ est un atout.
- Connaissance des systèmes CVC, des outils CFD ou FEA et des cadres d'ingénierie des données.
- Esprit analytique et intérêt marqué pour la conception de systèmes écoénergétiques.
Capacité à communiquer en français avec notre équipe basée au Québec si le candidat retenu est localisé au Québec. Dans un environnement multiculturel et international, une bonne maîtrise de l’anglais est nécessaire pour interagir avec une partie de notre clientèle et avec les équipes internationales. SMARDT

The SMARDT team brings over 25 years of experience working with power electronics, magnetic bearing technology, and oil-free centrifugal chillers. Headquartered in Montreal, SMARDT also has a presence in the United States, Europe, Australia, and China.
Main responsibilities
- Assist in 3D mechanical design and modelling of components and assemblies.
- Perform FEA analysis to evaluate structural integrity and optimize designs.
- Support metal fabrication and prototype manufacturing activities.
- Collaborate with engineers on design validation, tolerance analysis, and testing.
- Contribute to cost and performance optimization for manufacturability.
Candidate profile
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering (highly preferred) or Civil Engineering
- Knowledge of Python, MATLAB, or C++ is an asset.
- Familiarity with HVAC systems, CFD or FEA tools, and data engineering frameworks.
- Strong analytical mindset and interest in energy-efficient system design
Ability to speak French with our team in Quebec if the candidate is located in Quebec. In a multicultural and international environment, a good command of English is necessary to interact with part of our clientele and international team.
