Position Summary Collaborate with IT colleagues, business users, and vendor-partners and will be responsible for maintaining security solutions in a customer focused environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Oversee overall Security programs for TSSA On-premise and Cloud data centres.
- Administer and maintain all aspects of security systems, including Cisco security products and various targeted security solutions.
- Perform monitoring and analysis of security performance using SIEM and threat intelligence platforms.
- Monitor and manage security alerts and notifications within the ticketing system.
- Assist with preparation of reports for user and data access tracking to ensure the integrity and security of data.
- Prepare and ensure accuracy of documentation, procedures, guides, and check lists.
- Respond to emergency security service/appliance outages in accordance with business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
- Plan and deploy security awareness training campaigns for all staff, vendors and conducting role-based trainings
- Plan and deploy email threat simulation campaigns.
- Develops, manages and reports on detailed cybersecurity project plans.
- Ensures compliancy with corporate security policies and procedures
- Ensures system security, internal processing controls and audit controls are maintained.
- Organizes periodic infrastructure and application penetration tests
- Organizes and participates in penetration test , vulnerability scans and remediation plans.
- Prepare and participate in incident response report including investigating root cause, containment and recover.
- Provides periodic reporting to IT management team regarding Cybersecurity program
- Collaborates on the production of cybersecurity awareness bulletins
- Provides thought leadership on cybersecurity trends and initiatives of benefit to the organization
- Organize and develop data loss prevention policies
Job Qualifications
- 5 years of experience within IT, with 3 years of experience working in security administration
- Diploma in Information Technology related to field of security is a requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field is an asset
- Relevant network or security certifications preferred
- Experience with configuring and supporting security threat management products/services.
- Experience with end-user, server, workstation and network security equipment and services.
- Proficiency in documentation and ability to verbally articulate technical matters to non-technical staff.
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Experience conducting email security and threat simulations
- Experience managing IAM and SIEM solutions
- Pentest and vulnerability management
