Grocery Supervisor - Rivers
About the role
Key responsibilities include :
- Understanding and following Heritage Co-op’s Safety and Health Program and promoting a Culture of Safety including all Food Safety standards
- Providing exceptional customer service and living by our Brand expectations through our “You’re at Home Here” motto
- Assisting Grocery Manager with performance management, talent development, engagement, talent acquisition, orientation, and onboarding for all team members
- Responsible for overall safe, effective operations of the Grocery department, which includes but is not limited to scheduling, ordering, Brand standards, etc.
- Collaborate with fellow Team Leaders on displays and store projects
- Production, packaging and merchandising of product
- Order and receive product
- Work with the Grocery Manager on promotions and marketing initiatives
- Ensure high level of image and cleanliness in line with our Brand expectations
- Other projects and assignments as required
Who you are:
- You have exceptional customer service skills
- You have strong attention to detail as well as interpersonal and organizational skills
- You have previous customer service and/or leadership experience
- You have the ability to work effectively with others
- You have excellent leadership skills
- You are available to work flexible hours, which will include days, evenings, and weekends
