  • Support with social programming gap analysis.
  • Assist in identifying different programs delivered in neighbourhoods to understand community needs.
  • Conduct environmental scans to identify effective ways to market and communicate programs to diverse communities.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in the second year of a Social Work, Sociology or related degree program.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
  • A valid class 5 Driver's Licence (or provincial equivalent) and the use of personal vehicle required.
  • Success in this role requires the ability to work independently while also contributing effectively in a team-based environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.

Pre-Employment Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in school on a full-time basis with the intent to return to school full-time in the Fall of 2026.
  • A security clearance and Vulnerable Sector Search will be conducted.
  • If invited to an interview, you will be asked to provide an unofficial transcript or an enrollment verification letter (indicating the program and year you are currently completing).

Position Type: 1 Temporary Student (May - August)

Location: 315 10 Avenue SE

Compensation: $29.82 per hour

Days of Work: This position works a 5 day

work week with 1 day off in a 3 week cycle.

Hours of work: Standard 35 hour work week
