POSITION DESCRIPTION:

Our welcoming Faubourg Giffard retirement home, located just minutes from downtown Quebec City, is seeking a caring nursing assistant committed to the health and well-being of its residents. Permanent part-time daytime position, two days a week Week 1: Monday and Saturday Week 2: Friday and Sunday **Possibility of additional hours depending on needs and availability** :::

ROLE AND GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Administer medication in accordance with safety principles and the codes of ethics
• Contribute to the adjustment of a residents' action plan based on their observations
• Create and maintain metuculous notes in the residents Dossier in accordance with the requirements of the Ordre des Infirmiers et Infirmières auxiliaires du Québec (OIIAQ)
• Promote and advocate for proactive care among residents
• Respond to all emergency situations

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• Collect degree in nursing (DEC) or a proffesional studies dimploma (DEP) in health care assistance, nursing
• Ease in the use of computer tools
• Knowledge of retirement homes, a major asset
• Member of the OIIAQ
• CPR up to date
