The Project:
The GO Expansion program is a massive, multi-year project led by Metrolinx and ONxpress to transform the GO rail network into a 15-minute, all-day, two-way service across core routes. It includes electrifying over 600km of track, adding more than 10,000 weekly trips, and building new stations/infrastructure, with major construction underway and completion targeted for 2032.
You'll Be Responsible For:
- Define project requirements, resources, and technical services to deliver against the Project Execution Plan.
- Lead teams and stakeholders to achieve strategic KPIs, ensuring objectives are met.
- Monitor health, safety, and wellbeing across all stages of project delivery.
- Oversee project plans, budgets, risks, and timeframes, ensuring diligent management and mitigation.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to maintain robust quality systems, risk management, and effective communication.
- Champion sustainability and net zero carbon transition, embedding carbon reduction into project outcomes.
You’ll Need To Have:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in project management or construction, or equivalent professional experience.
- Professional membership (MCIOB/MAPM/MRICS) or working towards accreditation.
- Proven project management experience with strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
- Demonstrable expertise in budgeting, planning, and applying project management methodologies effectively.
Note: The estimated salary for this position is 90,000 - 140,000 USD. Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills and qualifications.
