Job Description:
We’re looking for a Senior Freight Payment and Reporting Analyst to lead the analytics, tracking, and oversight of our Freight Audit and Payment processes in partnership with third-party providers and Finance. In this role, you’ll ensure payments align with contractual and TJX standards while driving compliance and resolving issues efficiently. You’ll be empowered to identify cost-saving opportunities and recommend process improvements that make a real impact. What You’ll Do:
- Maintain Freight Pay SOPs and ensure alignment with financial and operational best practices.
- Manage rate coverage, database accuracy, and bid templates in collaboration with Carrier Management.
- Oversee carrier billing, payment KPIs, and exception governance through regular reporting and reviews.
- Act as the primary liaison with Nulogx, ensuring accurate rate uploads and leading weekly performance meetings.
- Validate and analyze data to support decision-making and performance reviews with carriers and 3PLs.
- Maintains payment status with TJXC requirements (current 80% targets) in line with set objectives
- Presents outcomes from analysis, by utilizing storytelling to share insights to diverse stakeholders and decision makers to make the key insights accessible to support decision making for run the business activities as well as special initiatives and projects
- Identified and implements appropriate continuous improvement cycle in processes to capitalize on any opportunities for greater efficiency or cost savings
About You:
- Minimum 4 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset.
- Strong research and analytical skills with the ability to investigate issues, identify discrepancies, and anticipate stakeholder questions.
- Proficient in data analytics and modeling tools (Power BI, Cognos, Tableau); advanced Excel skills.
- Skilled in translating complex data into actionable insights tailored to diverse audiences.
- Strong communication skills to clearly convey logistics challenges and opportunities to non-logistics teams.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills; able to prioritize and multitask under pressure with minimal supervision.
- Collaborative team player with the ability to build trust and communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
