As the Release Program Manager, you are responsible for coordinating and facilitating the release of solutions into production from multiple agile teams which will include initiatives supporting the Technology strategy for large scale programs, maintenance items and program deliverables that deliver and support significant business transformations across one or more lines of business. Using both agile and waterfall practices and approaches, you will coordinate, monitor and execute the smooth execution of a release process that takes tested, quality solutions from development to production.

###Technologies you have experience with:

  • Strong agile practice skills and experience at the program management level.

  • Experience in software development and infrastructure support.

  • Experience in managing deployments with Git, Jenkins, AWS.

###How you will create impact:

  • Coordinate environments, infrastructure and application readiness for implementation releases.

  • Coordinates the automation of the release management steps with a goal to reduce duration and manual effort while increasing quality.

  • Lead the continuous improvement of release processes in partnership with Digital, Advisor and Contact Centre Platforms, Digtial & Digital Properties, Test Automation, other Technology Partners, and Vendors.

  • Facilitate scrum of scrum sessions helping teams identify and resolve inter-team and external dependencies.

###To join our team:

  • You have five years of experience in Information Technology or a related field.

  • You have 3-5 years of experience in project or program management including experience with release management in an agile and/or development operations (DevOps) setting.

  • You have a post-secondary degree in Information Technology or a related discipline.

  • Program Management Certification, Project Management Professional (PMP) designation or Agile Certification is an asset.

  • Having an ITIL, Change Management or LEAN certification is an asset.

  • Detail oriented work that requires a moderate degree of mental concentration for extended periods of time.

Expected salary range $72,847 - $121,411

The salary amount for the successful candidate is determined by Co-operators in its discretion and will vary depending on several criteria including but not limited to: local market conditions, geography and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualification, experience and education.

Employees may also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn additional compensation tied to individual and/or business performance, or other business metrics.
