About the role
Job Overview We are seeking a friendly and organized Dental Receptionist to join our dental practice for Mondays & Saturdays. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing the front desk operations. This is a part time position . This role requires a strong understanding of dental office procedures, proficiency in electronic records, and the ability to handle administrative tasks efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and manage their check-in and check-out processes.
- Schedule appointments and confirm patient visits using our scheduling software.
- Maintain accurate patient records in electronic medical record systems .
- Handle phone calls, emails, and inquiries with professionalism and courtesy.
- Process patient payments and manage billing inquiries.
- Assist with insurance verification and claims processing.
- Collaborate with dental staff to ensure smooth operations within the office.
Experience
- Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist in Canada is an asset
- Familiarity with Open Dental OR similar software is highly desirable.
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and excellent organizational abilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
