Position Overview The City of Prince Albert is currently accepting applications for a number of casual Concession Worker positions.
This position provides customer service in the sale and preparation of food items at the Kinsmen Arena, Steuart Arena, Alfred Jenkins Field House, Kinsmen Water Park (summer), Art Hauser Centre and Lake Country Co-op Leisure Centre for events such as Raider games, tournaments and other functions within these facilities. Shifts available will include days, evenings and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Grade 12 or equivalent; or
- 14 years of age if a full-time continuing student. If under 16 years of age must complete the
Young Worker Readiness certification
- Knowledge of basic food preparation and the equipment needed to prepare food.
- Must be willing to attain Food Handler certification.
- Ability to handle cash and balance funds received.
- Must be willing to attain Serve It Right Saskatchewan certification if required.
Principle Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve patrons at various venues.
- Prepare food items, including cooking, baking, portioning and packaging.
- Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
- Assist in inventory control and restock items for sale.
- Open and close work site as directed.
- Complete daily deposit procedures as directed.
