The City of Delta is seeking dynamic, creative, and energetic individuals to lead a variety of social, cultural, sport, and recreational programs at our community recreation facilities.

Program Leaders are responsible for planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate activities for children and youth aged 2 to 18 years. This role requires individuals who are enthusiastic, high-energy, and passionate about working with children and youth in a fun, safe, and inclusive environment.

We are currently hiring Program Leaders for a range of program areas, including:

  • Coaching various sports
  • Before and after school care
  • Preschool-aged programs
  • Afterschool programs and drop-in activities
  • Youth Programs and drop-in activities

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working with children or youth in a recreation or childcare setting is preferred
  • Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, High Five and Food Safe certifications are considered assets
  • A valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License is desired
  • Ability to work Delta-wide is considered an asset

City of Delta provides a competitive salary of $25.93 per hour + 12% in lieu of benefits. Interested applicants are requested to apply online by August 17, 2025.
