About the role
This role is ideal for a creative video editor with a passion for nostalgic aesthetics and a strong sense of color grading. You will be responsible for enhancing short-form video content with a distinctive Y2K, fashion-forward style that resonates with a Gen Z audience. All footage will be pre-edited, requiring your expertise in color correction, grading, and occasional After Effects work to elevate the final product. The content is designed for a youthful demographic, so an understanding of current trends and a flair for innovative visual storytelling are essential.
Deliverables
Color grade and color correct 1–2 short videos per week (each under 60 seconds) Apply Y2K-inspired visual treatments and effects as needed Integrate After Effects elements to enhance visual appeal when required Ensure all videos maintain a cohesive, fashion-forward, and youthful aesthetic Deliver final videos in the required format and resolution, ready for social media distribution
Requirements
Proven experience in video editing with a strong portfolio featuring Y2K, 35mm, or similar nostalgic styles Proficiency in color grading and correction using industry-standard software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro) Skilled in After Effects for adding creative visual effects Deep understanding of Gen Z trends and visual culture Ability to work independently and deliver high-quality results on a weekly basis Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills Availability for ongoing, project-based work
