Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Field Sales Representative role based in Montreal, Qc. The Field Sales Representative will visit existing and prospective customers, present technical product solutions, and support sales activities in the assigned territory. Daily responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, conducting product demonstrations, managing account relationships, and responding to customer inquiries. The role involves close coordination with inside sales and manufacturer partners to develop proposals, follow up on leads, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. The Field Sales Representative will also track sales performance, report on market trends, and contribute to territory planning and growth initiatives. Qualifications Strong sales and account management skills, including prospecting, relationship building, and closing deals. Technical aptitude and ability to understand and explain product features, specifications, and applications. Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills for engaging with customers and internal teams. Organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage a territory, prioritize visits, and meet deadlines. Comfort with using CRM tools, email, and basic office software to document activities and prepare reports. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel locally within the Montreal area and surrounding region as needed. Previous experience in field sales, technical sales, or a related customer-facing role is an asset. Post-secondary education in business, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not required.
