We are seeking an experienced Guidewire Technical Lead Developer with 8 to 10 years of expertise to join our team in a hybrid work model. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive business solutions that align with company goals and enhance operational efficiency.
Role:Guidewire Technical Lead
Requirement:6+ Years of handson experience in atleast one of Guidewire InsuranceSuite products (PC, BC, CC).
Job Roles / Responsibilities:
- Work as a key member of a team in a Cognizant Guidewire Engineering team
- Own the design of SDLC with recommended set of Tools, Frameworks and Technologies.
- Review High-Level and Detailed Solution Designs.
- Research new technologies and architectural patterns by conducting Technical Proof of Concepts and propose improvements to existing platforms as well as migration from legacy systems.
- Experience in handling Guidewire Inceptions and experience in Guidewire implementation any suite PC/BC/CC
- Experience in Java, GOSU, Spring, Web Service and Server technologies, and different levels of testing.
- Experience with the following CI/CD tools: Maven, Gradle, NPM, AWS CodeBuild, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, GitHub Actions.
- AWS experience with services such as: EC2, Lambda, ECS, S3, EBS, VPCs, CloudWatch, CloudFormation will be an advantage
- Build and Operate Services and Platforms as a member of cross-functional team.
- Work closely with other subject areas including, functional and non-functional testing, security and operations, in order to design, build and operate highly resilient and secure solutions.
- Participate in building engineering organization in conducting interviews.
- Collaborate and connect with Guidewire Community for solution across portfolio

Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 2 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Toronto, ON, Canada.
