Weekend Janitor - Part Time Casual, Bathurst NB
Interfor is looking for energetic and enthusiastic people to join our team asWeekend Janitor – Part Time Casual in Bathurst, New Brunswick.
What You'll Do
- Work Saturday and Sunday, 7AM – 3:30PM
- Reports to Maintenance Supervisor
- Required to work with all PPE needed.
- Works to ensure his/her own safety as well as his/her co-workers’ safety, this includes good communication with all employees.
- Clean bathrooms at the mill and garage. Replenishing hand towels and toilet paper dispensers.
- Clean supervisor’s office, electrician’s office, kiln’s office, stockroom office and maintenance office.
- Clean lunchroom at sawmill and garage. Empty all garbage cans.
- Clean locker rooms.
- Clean stairway and hallway at sawmill main entrance.
- Ensure all drinking water bottles and cup dispensers are always replenished.
- During winter months, make sure main entrance is cleaned and safe.
- Report any safety hazards and breakdowns to supervisor.
- Other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
What You Offer
- Experience in a janitorial/cleaner role is an asset.
- Availability to work on Saturday and Sunday.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. consistently and ability to stand, walk, climb stairs and perform cleaning tasks for full shift.
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to take initiative and be proactive.
