Position Summary
The Director of Data Analytics, Enterprise Architecture & AI is a strategic and operational technical leader responsible for defining the vision and driving delivery across data, analytics, architecture, and artificial intelligence. This role combines leadership with hands-on expertise: transforming business needs into concrete solutions (architectures, data platforms, analytics products, AI workflows) and ensuring measurable outcomes.
You will be at the center of a transformation mandate aimed at modernizing the technology architecture, strengthening governance, implementing robust practices, and maximizing the value of IT investments. The position involves creating standards, mentoring teams, and implementing agile processes for reliable and scalable deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Leadership: Define the integrated Data/Architecture/AI vision and drive execution (roadmaps, KPIs, adoption).
- Enterprise Architecture: Create standards and integration patterns, rationalize systems, and lead performance-focused reviews.
- Delivery & Governance: Oversee delivery of data/analytics solutions using Agile/DataOps methods, ensuring quality and compliance.
- Data Platform & Engineering: Deploy high-performing, automated data architectures (lake, warehouse, pipelines).
- BI & AI: Deliver reliable BI products, lead AI use cases from design to production, and ensure business value.
- Mentorship & Culture: Act as a “player-coach,” develop talent, and foster a results-driven culture.
- Partnership: Communicate progress with evidence (metrics, adoption) and strengthen data literacy.
Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 10+ years of leadership experience in data, analytics, enterprise architecture, or AI, including at least 5 years in delivery or operations.
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture, building data platforms, and implementing analytics solutions.
- AI project delivery in a corporate environment (major asset).
- Mastery of enterprise architecture frameworks and roadmaps.
- Knowledge of modern data stacks (Azure Synapse, Databricks, Snowflake, Power BI, Tableau) and integration platforms.
- Familiarity with data governance frameworks and Agile/DevOps models.
- Strong skills in strategic planning, program management, delivery leadership, and stakeholder engagement.
- Deep expertise in enterprise architecture, data engineering, and analytics.
- Strong strategic planning and enterprise architecture capabilities.
- In-depth understanding of data engineering, analytics, and emerging AI technologies.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to balance innovation with operational discipline.
