WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US You will be joining the Platform Cloud Support team within SimCorp’s Product Division. The team provides technical support services for internal product and engineering teams across the organization. This role plays an important part in ensuring the stability, reliability, and continuous improvement of our platform services that support SimCorp’s products and internal operations.

As a Senior Technical Application Consultant, you will contribute to maintaining high availability of critical systems, resolving complex technical challenges, and helping teams adopt scalable and efficient application solutions.

What You Will Be Responsible For In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, maintaining, and improving application solutions used across the organization. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and technical teams to ensure stable operations, resolve complex issues, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our platform services.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing and configuring technical application solutions to meet internal and operational requirements
  • Troubleshooting and resolving complex application and platform-related issues
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand technical requirements and deliver effective solutions
  • Monitoring application performance and identifying opportunities for optimization and reliability improvements
  • Supporting application upgrades, integrations, and migrations across the platform environment
  • Developing and maintaining technical documentation, including procedures and troubleshooting guides
  • Contributing to process improvements and best practices within the Platform Cloud Support team

  • Experience in technical consulting, application support, or a similar technical role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve complex technical issues
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and cloud-based application environments
  • Knowledge of identity and access management concepts, including Microsoft Entra ID, authentication, and access control
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and internal stakeholders
  • A proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience supporting application implementations, upgrades, or integrations
  • Willingness to share knowledge
