3D Artist (Real-Time) — 1-Year Contract

Join an innovative, collaborative, and internationally recognized company that designs and manufactures world-class splash pads and aquatic play experiences enjoyed by families across the globe. We combine creativity, engineering, and technology to build vibrant spaces that inspire play and connection.
We are looking for a talented 3D Artist (Real-Time) to join our creative team on a 1-year maternity leave contract. This is a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of real-time visualization, product design, and interactive tools, contributing to an evolving Unreal Engine ecosystem used across design, sales, and marketing.

What You’ll Do
As a 3D Artist (Real-Time), you will support both product and project visualization initiatives by transforming engineering concepts into compelling real-time experiences and high-quality visuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Convert and optimize engineering CAD models for real-time use, including modeling, UVs, and LOD creation
- Build, organize, and maintain structured 3D product libraries used across design and sales tools
- Create realistic environments and visual content including renders, animations, videos, and interactive presentations
- Support and maintain Unreal Engine environments and internal visualization tools
- Debug and enhance existing Blueprint systems and contribute to workflow improvements
- Participate in R&D and continuous improvement initiatives related to visualization and pipeline development
- Support project design activities during peak production periods
What You Bring
Required Qualifications
- DEC or Bachelor’s degree in 3D Animation, 3D Art, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2–3 years of experience in product visualization, architecture visualization, or related real-time 3D environments
- Strong proficiency with Unreal Engine 5 (Level Editor, Materials, Blueprint, Sequencer)
- Experience with 3ds Max or equivalent 3D software, including modeling, UV mapping, texturing, optimization, lighting, and rendering
- Strong understanding of real-time rendering constraints and asset optimization workflows
- Excellent artistic eye for composition, lighting, color, and visual storytelling
- Good knowledge of Photoshop
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when needed
- Comfortable communicating in both French and English (intermediate English required)
Experience in any of the following areas would be considered an asset:
- SolidWorks or AutoCAD
- Scripting or programming
- Water simulation / FX creation
- Reading CAD plans and technical drawings
- UI/UX design
- Motion graphics
- Character animation or rigging/setup
