Job Title: Sales Intern (4-month contract) Location: Toronto, ON Duration: September 2026 to December 2026

About the opportunity: The Sales Intern works on large account teams with a focus on providing key sales, category analysis and business presentation tools to the Sales Team. The position focuses on leveraging the customer and market specific information to determine actionable opportunities to help the account team reach its annual business plan objectives.

The attributes we are looking for: Develop account specific category business presentations in conjunction with the needs as identified by the Account Team. Support the team where required to execute the 52-week sales plan on product, price, place, and promotions to ensure targets are met. Communicate and coordinate with the field and/ or regional team as key issues or opportunities arise in relation to priorities, reporting, category customer plans and other adhoc items. Provide support within monthly meetings & lead sales calendars between various field and account teams to address priorities and results. Download and maintain deal shts and contract billing, cross-referencing with TPM deductions and balances, to support the SPAs. Work in partnership with sales forecast analysts and sales pricing analysts to ensure accurate tracking and monitoring of monthly results, ensuring effective communication and adherence to the annual plan and optimal product distribution. Maintain customer calendars, forecasts, deals, and portal inputs. Ensure that business-critical information is clearly documented, accurate, and easily accessible to the team and new members through the team SharePoint. Perform administrative and reconciliation duties (i.e. customer score cards, presentations & templates, managing discount programs, pricing, debits, rebates, deductions etc.) to ensure timely and accurate customer accounts. Prepare ad hoc reports and other internal administrative requirements such as new item forms, item and customer maintenance as required by the Key Account and National Account Managers.

What you will bring: Currently pursuing post-secondary education in Business with a specialization in Sales or a related field of study

  • Proven analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong orientation towards accuracy, quality and focus on details.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Proficient with standard office computer technology such as SAP, Microsoft Office products (intermediate Excel skills).

Compensation: As part of our commitment to fairness, trust, and transparency and our ambition to be an Employer of Choice, the base salary range for this position is $21/h – $22.50+/h.

Please note: Along with a comprehensive Total Rewards package, your actual base salary will be fair, competitive, and be based on your skills, experience, and qualifications.
