About the role
Role: Golang Developer Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Payout: $30–$80/hour
Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Golang Developer to work on a contract basis. This role involves designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications using Go (Golang) to support the training and refinement of next-generation AI systems. Your work will directly contribute to improving how AI models learn, reason, and perform by providing robust, scalable software solutions in a fast-evolving technology landscape. The opportunity is ideal for developers who value precision, collaboration, and measurable impact in the artificial intelligence domain.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient applications using Go (Golang) to support AI model training infrastructure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to define project requirements, architectural decisions, and delivery timelines for software solutions.
- Participate in peer code reviews to uphold code quality standards, share best practices, and ensure adherence to design patterns and security guidelines.
- Optimize and refactor existing Go-based systems for improved performance, memory efficiency, and scalability to handle increased AI workloads.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve complex technical issues across distributed systems in a timely and methodical manner.
- Document system architecture, software design decisions, implementation logic, and operational procedures to support long-term maintainability.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of development processes, tooling, and CI/CD pipelines to enhance team productivity and reliability.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience developing production-grade applications using Go (Golang), with a strong understanding of its concurrency model, type system, and standard library.
- Hands-on experience with designing and implementing RESTful APIs, microservices, or distributed systems in Go for scalable backend services.
- Proficiency in version control systems such as Git, including branching strategies and collaborative workflows like GitFlow or trunk-based development.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, including SOLID, DRY, and clean architecture, and experience applying them in Go applications.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes) for deploying Go services in cloud or hybrid environments.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure) and related services such as compute, storage, networking, and serverless functions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to write clean, maintainable, and well-tested Go code with comprehensive unit and integration test coverage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders across time zones.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.
More About the Opportunity: This contract role offers the chance to work with a rapidly scaling organization at the intersection of software engineering and artificial intelligence, enabling domain experts to contribute meaningfully to AI development. The project involves building and optimizing the backend infrastructure that powers AI training pipelines, offering global exposure to modern cloud-native practices and high-impact technical challenges. Candidates will gain experience in systems that support large-scale machine learning workflows while working alongside a diverse, distributed team of engineers and AI researchers.
Equal Opportunity Employer: We hire based on skills and expertise. All qualified candidates are welcome regardless of background, experience, or prior employment history. Applications are reviewed solely on demonstrated technical ability and qualifications.

About Hire Feed
HireFeed: A QuikHire product.
Earn in dollars. On your hours. From wherever.
HireFeed is the AI-curated feed of contract, gig, and AI training jobs that pay in USD, built for the people who actually want to work, not the ones writing job descriptions.
Why it exists: the highest-paying contract work in the world - RLHF, AI evaluation, domain-expert training, senior contract engineering, sits scattered across hundreds of ATS feeds and platform job boards. Most of it never makes it to Indeed or LinkedIn, and the roles that do are usually stale by the time you find them. The best opportunities are also the most ephemeral.
HireFeed pulls from 500+ verified sources, including Outlier, Mercor, Surge AI, Micro1, Turing, Toloka, Appen, and Remotasks, and refreshes every 60 seconds. The moment a role closes at the source, it falls off the feed.
What you'll find here:
- AI training, RLHF, and evaluation: $20–$80/hr
- Domain experts: medical, legal, finance, math (PhD)
- Senior contract engineering, paid weekly
- Multilingual annotation, creative writing training, AI research
What you won't find: pay-undisclosed listings, expired roles, "still accepting applications" lies, recruiter middlemen, or data resale. Pay is a hard requirement. Apply links 302-redirect to the source ATS. We never see your résumé.
Free for candidates, forever. Funded by the partner side.
