About This Role

We are seeking a proactive and innovative leader for our Flightscape Project Management Office. As the Manager of Business Performance and PMO Manager, you will lead a team responsible for developing and implementing project management standards, processes, and methodologies, while also supporting the Flightscape Division President through strategic planning, executive coordination, and operational alignment.

The Project Management Office plays a crucial role within this business. The PMO team includes Technical Program Managers, Project Controllers, and Project Managers, working closely with finance and operational excellence experts.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the PMO team and ensure successful implementation of its strategy, services, and deliverables.
  • Act as a shared service across the Flightscape organization and product suites.
  • Provide PMO expertise, tools, training, and coaching; track and progress product actions.
  • Manage and track top objectives (OKRs, KPIs, dashboards, governance).
  • Deliver data-driven insights to support decision-making (budget, financial planning, scope, and resource management).
  • Prioritize and recommend strategic portfolio initiatives; lead key central projects.
  • Institutionalize a financial structure to improve time and resource planning.
  • Support the Division President through:
    • Preparing executive presentations and strategic briefing materials.
    • Coordinating leadership meetings, dry runs, and follow-ups.
    • Ensuring alignment and readiness across key initiatives and stakeholders.

Your day-to-day activities will include:

  • Build cohesion within the PMO team and motivate high-quality delivery.
  • Lead project and release planning; implement project controls and governance.
  • Collaborate with Finance to produce financial trackers and reporting.
  • Maintain secure, accessible project documentation and systems.
  • Develop performance monitoring and reporting systems.
  • Continuously improve processes using a lean approach.

The ideal candidate will have the following profile:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience building and leading a team, with at least 3 years of exposure to financial initiatives.
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a global team.
  • Experience with project management software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or similar.
  • Analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex problems.
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management certification an asset.
