AI Authoring Solution Lead

Canada - Remote

Primary Purpose

The AI Authoring Solution Lead will own the roadmap and execution for Emmes’ Veriscribe solution, driving feature development and platform evolution in alignment with user needs and business goals. This role bridges product management and client enablement, playing a key part in shaping product capabilities while actively supporting new client onboarding, delivery frameworks, and internal capability building.

The AI Authoring Solution Lead will manage a cross-functional team of AI engineers, software developers, testers and designers to define and prioritize product enhancements, communicate roadmap, scale the business and ensure client success. The ideal candidate will combine a background in product management with a strong understanding of the application of AI agents and LLMs in support of clinical trial workflows.

Responsibilities:

-Drive the strategic roadmap, aligning product direction with customer needs, business priorities, and market trends in AI and LLM based document authoring and automation. -Prioritize and develop product requirementsfor cross functional team to deliver high value capabilities in an iterative manner -Perform user and market research– lead discovery with medical writers, biostatisticians, and clinical operations; synthesize insights into opportunity sizing and competitive positioning -Serve as the product SME in client engagements, leading onboarding and training sessions, conducting needs assessments, gathering detailed requirements, and translating them into product roadmap, success metrics, and support frameworks that drive customer value and adoption -Drive internal capability buildingby developing training content, onboarding materials, and demo assets to enable sales, implementation, and support teams. -**Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs)**related to product adoption, customer satisfaction, market share; make strategic adjustments based on data insights. -Collaborate with business development and pre-sales teamsto position the product effectively in the market, develop compelling value propositions, and support sales efforts through expert input into RFPs, solutioning sessions, and customer presentations.

Qualifications:

Required Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, life sciences, business, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus
  • 5 years of experience in SaaS product management, with 2+ years focused on AI/ML or data-intensive products.
  • Experience working with Agentic AI and LLM driven SaaS products in healthcare, clinical research, or life sciences is strongly preferred.

Required Skills/Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of product management principles and agile software development
  • Working knowledge of AI Agents and LLMs in support of clinical trial processes
  • Cross-functional collaboration - proven track record partnering with AI, Engineering, and Design to ship high-quality products on time.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to articulate product value to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Self-starter mentality - comfortable navigating ambiguity, setting direction, and delivering results in a fast-growing, remote-first environment
  • Communication & influence - excellent written and verbal skills; can tailor narrative from engineering deep dives to executive business cases
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, GDPR, HIPAA) is a plus.
  • Proficiency with tools for product planning, story mapping, or UX design is preferred.
  • Scrum experience and CSPO and/or CSM certification preferred.
