Position Summary The Production Coordinator performs a variety of coordination and administrative duties that support the needs of production. Key Responsibilities Review daily production sheets for accuracy and update completions in the ERP system. Prepare daily production metrics/reports to support production Management meetings. Based on the input from the production planners and crew chiefs, highlight milestones that are approaching, have been completed, or are past due. Document & broadcast recovery plans as generated in these sessions. Monitor production personnel training matrix including monthly training expiry forecast. Maintain inter-departmental communication & coordination to facilitate scheduling of employee training with minimal impact on aircraft delivery. Manage the details of the on-boarding and exit checklists and documents need to be completed for operations personnel. Provide the needed forms for IT equipment, access, and authorizations to the operations manager for signature. Review production employee time sheets for accuracy and input applicable hours/premiums into the payroll system. Update employee shift schedule as required. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to streamline operational and employee reporting and overall operational effectiveness. Additional indirect accountabilities include informing and providing service to operations and Planning departments. Other duties as assigned. Experience and/or Educational Requirements Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt to new priorities throughout the day Computer proficiency required, particularly with MS Office Suite Excellent communication skills Ability to interpret documents and apply standards to complete assignments in a fast-changing environment Proven track record of being a self-starter ERP experience will be considered an asset Experience with Visual considered an asset Experience in a Aviation, Aerospace or Manufacturing environment considered an asset Why work at De Havilland?
