##Summary

The Office Coordinator is responsible for creating a welcoming environment by greeting visitors and managing contractor acces to the facility. They manage incoming phone calls with professionalism, ensuring inquiries are directed appropriately. Additionally, they oversee the sorting and distribution of mail to support efficient office operations.

##Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors to the the factory and route to an appropriate party
  • Answering incomeing phone calls and route to an appropriate party
  • Maintain and distribute phone list.
  • Collect and distribute incoming mail. Compile outgoing mail for delivery.
  • Manage access fobs and PPE distribution and sanitation for visitors. Maintain PPE stock in the supply closet.
  • Order office supplies, recognition items, and other supplies as needed. Organize and manage supplies in the mails room and supply closet.
  • Prepare common spaces and meeting rooms, ensuring areas are tidy and stocked with supplies.
  • Order and organize food and supplies when needed for meetings or events.
  • Miscellaneous tasks to include but not limited to assisting with employee events, maintaining comany vehicles, ordering employee uniforms, managing tour requests, etc.
  • Ad hoc project support for Simplot employees
  • Ensure self-compliance with Company policies and plant procedures.
  • Maintaing Company standards for safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMPs.
  • Work within safety rules and regulations in actively avoiding injury to self and others.
  • Maintain necessary level of communication with team members an other support groups and does so in participative management style conducive to operational goals.
  • Ensure that additional duties and accoutabilities required by mangement are handled in a manner necessary to meet operational standards.

##Typical Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

##Relevant Experience

  • Previous work experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safey practices helpful.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English in a manner to successfully complete job duties.
  • Must be able to use MS office products.
