Associate Director, Program and Operations

Rebuild Foundation – Chicago, IL

Full-Time with Initial 90-Day Contract Term with opportunity for extension

Annual Salary: $75,000 - $85,000

Rebuild Foundation is seeking a reliable, highly organized, collaborative, and mission-driven Associate Director, Programs and Operations to support the daily operation needs of The Land School's (TLS) dynamic public programs, events and administration. This role helps to oversee the workflow of Associates, and Volunteers and works closely with the Director of The Land School to ensure seamless program delivery, strong community and artists partnerships, and a high standard of production across its public programs and events. This position reports to the Director of The Land School and the Artistic Director and Founder, Theaster Gates. This position is expected to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and requires on-site work.

Programs and Archive Coordinator

Rebuild Foundation – Chicago, IL

1099 Independent Contractor | ($22/hour) | 20-35 hours per week

Initial 90-Day Contract Term with opportunity for extension to full one-year contract term

Rebuild Foundation is seeking a detail-oriented and creative Programs and Archive Coordinator to support the organization's programs, administration, and Archive/Collection work. This role reports to the Director of The Land School, and the Artistic Director and Founder of Rebuild, Theaster Gates, and is responsible for the care, documentation and presentation of Rebuilds Archives and Collections. Programs and Archive Coordinator will help to register, catalog, and document current holdings and support the transport of archival holdings to future Rebuild locations, to ensure consistent, mission-aligned administration support and project coordination at The Land School and other Rebuild sites. This position is expected to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and requires on-site work.

Film and Archive Coordinator

Rebuild Foundation – Chicago, IL

Rebuild Foundation is seeking reliable, highly-organized, and detail-oriented Film and Archive Coordinator to support aspects of Rebuild Foundations Black Cinema House programs, and archives and collections stewarded at The Land School. Film and Archive Coordinator is responsible for the care, documentation and presentation of Rebuilds Archives and Collections. The Film and Archive Coordinator reports to the Director of The Land School and the Artistic Director and Founder of Rebuild, Theaster Gates, to register, catalog, and document current holdings and support the transport of archival holdings to future Rebuild locations. This role may also serve as support to the Artistic Director and Founder for special projects related to Black Cinema House. This position is expected to work nights, weekends, and holidays, and requires on-site work.

Development Manager

Rebuild Foundation – Chicago, IL

Part-Time, 25-30 hours per week

Initial 90-Day Contract Term with opportunity for extension

Contract Fee $4,000/ month for the 90-day contract term

Rebuild Foundation is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Development Manager to lead the implementation of our development initiatives. In collaboration with the Artistic Director and Founder, and Director of The Land School and General Manager, the Development Manager will play a pivotal role in strategizing, planning, and executing fundraising efforts, donor engagement, partnership development, and grant writing. This role is integral to our mission of securing funding to support our artistic and community-driven projects and ensure compliance with funder requirements. This position reports to the Artistic Director and Founder, and Director of The Land School/General Manager.
