What are your contributions to the team?

• Promote and ensure teamwork between the various customers, departments and Suppliers of Technical Publications.
• Be responsible for all aspects of the group both administrative and technical oversight.
• You will be responsible for the Performance Management Process (PMP) and development of the employees in your group.
• Work closely with Human Resources to perform recruitment as per department hiring plan.
• Ensure on time and high-quality delivery of Completion Manuals along with related updates/modifications.
• Effectively manage the department’s User Comment process.
• Be a Quality focal for Technical Publications ensuring all groups implement quality standards.

How to thrive in this role?

• You have a college or university diploma in aerospace or equivalent, combined with a minimum of seven (7) years relevant experience in Technical Publications.
• You have a good background in planning workload and supervising experienced employees.
• You must be an effective leader who has the ability to: develop a strong team, develop and implement new processes and tools, lead process improvement initiatives, deliver results, is highly organized and able to handle multiple priorities.You must have excellent communication skills, both written and spoken, in English and French.
• You are familiar with ATA and S1000D Publication Standards. Familiarity with Operational Publications Standards a benefit.
• You have background and/or experience in quality assurance.
• You exercise your leadership in accordance with the vision and values of Bombardier Aerospace and have good initiative, commitment, entrepreneurship, innovation and judgment.
