The Manitoba Public Service Commission leads the delivery of a wide range of strategic human resource services within government including: policy and program development, training and development, recruitment and selection, labour and employee relations, classification and compensation, strategic planning, supportive employment, which includes disability management and accommodations, and pay and benefits.

Duties:
The Talent Acquisition Branch provides a range of services, across people, process, and technology, to enable talent acquisition for the Manitoba government. Primarily accountable for recruitment programs and partnerships, the Talent Acquisition, Recruitment team manages a data driven end-to-end recruitment process, informed by workforce forecasting, talent related HR programs and executing the talent strategy, for all departmental appointments.
The Recruiter is responsible for actioning the daily full-cycle recruitment activities for their assigned portfolio under the direction of the Manager, Recruitment.
Qualifications:
Essential:

Post-secondary education specializing in human resources or an equivalent combination of related education, training and experience

Experience performing full cycle recruitment
-
Strong written communication skills
-
Strong verbal communication skills
-
Effective interpersonal skills
-
Ability to interpret human resource policies, practices and legislation
-
Strong organizational skills with ability to manage competing priorities under strict deadlines
-
Ability to work in a team environment while fostering a respectful workplace
-
Ability to effectively manage confidential information
-
Strong critical thinking skills with demonstrated ability to implement innovative solutions
Desired:
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in French

Must provide and maintain a satisfactory Criminal Record Check and an Enhanced Internal Security Check

Must be able to travel within the province by ground and air transportation
