We are working with some of the region's leading investment companies, corporates and sovereign wealth funds.

Typical assignments based in Abu Dhabi or Dubai are 6 months in length. Consultants would need to be able to commit to on-site client assignments in Abu Dhabi, so will ideally reside in Abu Dhabi or Dubai

Role Profile
Commercially astute and technically accomplished Senior Funds and Investment Lawyer. The successful candidate will advise sponsors, asset managers, sovereign wealth funds, institutional investors and family offices on the structuring, establishment and operation of investment funds. The panel requires a lawyer who combines deep private practice expertise with an understanding of the commercial and operational realities facing fund sponsors and managers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Fund formation: Advising on the establishment and structuring of various investment funds (private equity, debt, venture capital, real estate, Shari'a compliant), including bespoke vehicles and co-investment arrangements
• Cross-border transactions: Providing legal advice on international M&A, joint ventures and multi-jurisdictional investment structures, particularly in emerging markets
• Investor relations: Managing relationships with institutional investors (sovereign wealth funds, pension funds, family offices) and leading negotiations on fund documentation and side letters
• Regulatory compliance: Advising on fund regulatory regimes, marketing rules, distribution requirements and ongoing compliance obligations across jurisdictions
• Cross-jurisdictional support: Providing broad legal support spanning fund formation, private equity, real estate and global product distribution
