Job Title / Function: Technical Trainer
Country / Location: Canadian Region
Overall Responsibility
The Technical Trainer will be responsible for performing and coordinating all training related activities for Manufacturing Technicians, Advanced Manufacturing Technicians, Quality and Material systems. The Technical Trainer will introduce employees to their jobs, including basic training, completion of the gated training checklists, safety work habits and other training initiatives. Review performance with employees and advise their Supervisors of strengths and weaknesses.
Accountabilities
- Develop and maintain Technical training content and deliverables (Manufacturing Technicians, Advanced Manufacturing Technicians, Maintenance, Quality, Materials and Engineering).
- Gated training - Upkeep of gated training document and all associated documents.
- Develop, maintain and continuously improved training validation testing and comprehension.
- Establish and maintain the 'Trained trainer System'.
- Work with support departments in order to acquire needed documentation for the training program (Annual Validation).
- Assess training needs and certifications for any New Business.
- Proactive involvement in APQP team.
- Create and maintain DOJO area.
- Ensure all training tools are up to date with current processes
- Dojo training resources kept up to date and relevant with current processes
- Actively participate in business related initiatives and support the team spirit including WCM and OKR's.
- Develop training system that promotes OKR's as a base tool for the team.
- Assist with development as well as training validation for WCM.
- Leadership
- Act as a Mentor for 'Trained Trainers'.
- Develop 'Core value' training as well as feedback process for such.
- Other Duties as assigned.
