👥 About the Role: We’re looking for a Part Sales Manager to drive sales performance for used aircraft parts and oversee the daily operation of the parts department. In this role, you will lead all sales and distribution activities, including acquisitions, refurbishments and final resale. You will strategically guide the part sales team, manage inventory and parts listing, and support efficient client order fulfillment. This role is ideal for someone who can develop and execute business strategies to increase revenue, provide excellent customer service and optimize sales processes for growth.

🛠️ What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee part sales performance and manage the day-to-day operation of the parts department
  • Lead sales and distribution processes for used aircraft parts, acquisitions, refurbishment and resale of parts
  • Develop business strategies to increase revenue to drive growth and optimize sales processes
  • Manage parts ordering, receiving and storage processes
  • Responsible for accurate tracking, reporting and forecasting of parts inventory
  • Facilitate and lead regular audits within the parts department
  • Negotiate parts pricing, discounts and contract terms maximizing profitability
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to meet or exceed profit targets for the parts department
  • Generate sales and inventory reports for leadership with findings and updates
  • Design and implement promotional activities, pricing strategies and sales campaigns
  • Research market pricing of parts to maintain competitive pricing
  • Maintain an accurate and up-to-date record of orders, invoices, payments, and customer interactions
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of all product line details and inform the team about new launches and discontinuations
  • Lead, motivate and manage the part sales team to achieve sales goals through coaching and training
  • Lead team meetings with regular updates and challenges within the department
  • Conduct annual performance evaluation providing feedback
  • Responsible for building a culture of respect, support and collaboration

🎯 What You Bring:

  • Post-secondary education/diploma in a business, supply chain or Aviation related program
  • Minimum 5 year’ of parts and sales experience with Aviation experience preferred
  • Ability to learn and leverage technology and internal systems
  • Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Self-motivation, ability to learn quickly and work successfully under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Leadership Abilities, able to lead and motivate a team, delegate tasks effectively, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
  • Strong negotiation skills for securing favorable terms and pricing from suppliers while maintaining positive relationships
  • Excellent Communication Skills with suppliers, internal stakeholders, and team members to effectively negotiate contracts, resolve issues, and convey procurement strategies clearly
  • Ability to conduct basic calculations and numerical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently while being a flexible and adaptable team player
  • Professional, ethical, and committed to excellence
  • Valid G level drivers’ license with clean abstract
  • Working knowledge of CORRIDOR or other sales order and/or procurement related software products is preferred
