Based in Carrefour de l'Estrie and reporting to the Center Director, the Technical Services Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating, overseeing, and optimizing all building maintenance and upkeep activities to ensure proper functioning, safety, and performance.
- Assign tasks according to service requests, establish priorities, and monitor the progress of work;
- Distribute work orders to building technicians via the Yardi platform and follow up on them;
- Ensure compliance with all requirements, operating procedures, practices, quality standards, and performance;
- Monitor the execution of activities to ensure timely completion of work;
- Ensure proper deployment of technicians to the buildings;
- Supervise, train, and coordinate schedules of building maintenance technicians, and participate in setting objectives and evaluating technicians;
- Manage emergency calls and coordinate with on-call technicians;
- Oversee security and cleanliness services on site;
- Conduct regular and preventive inspections of buildings, equipment, and mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems;
- Manage safety permits, incident reports, hot work permits, and fire protection system shutdown permits;
- Collaborate with property management, leasing, development, and construction teams;
- Monitor and collaborate on OPEX/CAPEX budgets;
- Provide reports on building, equipment, and mechanical/electrical system conditions, along with recommendations for improvement and repair;
- Support and ensure training, safety meetings, operational meetings, and safety discussions with the technical team;
- Obtain quotes for various renovation and construction projects;
- Oversee and manage purchase orders, work orders, and invoicing related to different projects;
- Ensure tenant and vendor files are complete and up to date;
- Respond to tenant requests and ensure proper follow-ups;
- Send communications and notices to vendors and tenants;
- Perform all other related duties.
Qualifications:
- College diploma (DEC) in Industrial Maintenance Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Building Systems Technology, or Stationary Machinery Mechanics;
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; good knowledge of Yardi accounting systems (an asset).
