About the role
As a Production Control – Clerk, you will support production control and ensure the efficient flow of information to maintain and update production transactions by inputting and correcting data within ERP systems and other databases. To excel in this position, you will need to be organized, detail-oriented and efficient with time management and data entry.
Job Duties
- Provide support to various departments such as planning, engineering, and manufacturing teams
- Manage transactions in the ERP system
- Process and manage daily time and attendance transactions for employees
- Process job transactions and correct errors
- Maintain employee profiles and system updates in collaboration with payroll and Human Resources
- Responsible for distributing and displaying all employee-related materials (posters, information memos, and other critical print information)
- Assist with employee appreciation events such as BBQs and Pizza Days
- Answer all incoming calls and respond to inquiries in a professional manner
- Complete front desk administration; greeting customers, guests and employees
- Receive and distribute all incoming mail
Skills and Experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Manage multiple competing priorities effectively prioritizing and executing tasks
- Maintain professional communication (written and verbal)
- Able to learn quickly and apply that knowledge appropriately
- Be highly motivated, detail-oriented, and self-directed
- Accurately and efficiently manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of production processes in an ERP system including inventory control, production control, and supply chain management
Qualifications
- Education and training related to inventory management, supply chain management or materials management an asset.
- Knowledge of production processes in an ERP system including inventory control, production control and supply chain management
- Proficiency in common PC software, including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
