Senior Frontend Developer Position Hybrid in North York! About The Job We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Frontend Developer in the GTA to join a growing web development team. You will be responsible for leading the development of robust and scalable web applications in Angular, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior developers. This is a full-time permanent position offering a hybrid (4 days in office) structure with the office located in North York.
What are the primary responsibilities of this role?
- Architect, design, develop, and maintain high-performance web applications using modern front-end frameworks.
- Collaborate with back-end developers to define, design, and ship new features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
- Mentor and guide junior developers on best practices and technical skills.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven expertise with modern versions of Angular
- Comfortability building complex applications from scratch and maintaining large-scale codebases in either or both frameworks.
- Deep understanding and hands-on experience with Kendo UI (or equivalent) Component Libraries for Angular.
- Proficiency in TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3/Sass.
- Experience with state management patterns and libraries (e.g., NgRx).
- Strong knowledge & experience of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
- In-depth knowledge & experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- A strong understanding of modern CI/CD pipelines (Github Actions).
- Experience with version control systems, particularly Git (Github).
- Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG).
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.
- A solid understanding of UI/UX principles.
Educational Requirements
- University degree
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in front-end web development.
