About the role
Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Supply Chain Support Associate on a permanent basis on our Supply Chain team.
This position requires on-site work and is based in Calgary, AB .
We are looking for an individual to join our team that prides themselves on providing value and service to internal and external stakeholders. What you’ll do:
- Execute on day-to-day activities with the Supply Chain Support Centre to best support Retails within the Co-operative Retailing System (CRS).
- Field inquiries from Retail locations and internal stakeholders via various communication channels.
- Receive multiple types of Retail orders and prepare and process the orders.
- Assist Retails with ordering processes, technology, and tools.
- Liaise between Retail and internal departments to follow up on inventory, pack changes, discrepancies, and all other types of inquiries.
- Complete general administrative duties and assist with data entry as required. Provide backup services to Transportation, Distribution Centres, and management as required.
Who you’ll work with:
The Team: You will work closely with other Supply Chain Support Associates and will have 2 direct reports. This team strives to cultivate a culture of collaboration and proactivity.
The Collaborators: You will work closely with other functions in our Supply Chain business unit and collaborate across the organization with teams such as the distribution centres, retails stores, independent clients, etc.
The Customers: You will demonstrate customer focus while supporting the needs of the whole Co-operative Retailing System (CRS).

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:
- Have 3 years of administrative experience in retail/wholesale food merchandise.
- Have a high school education with preferences towards a business diploma.
- Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Are comfortable with computers and learning software tools at a minimum of an intermediate level. Experience working in a call centre would be considered an asset.
This opportunity is a Level 5 – Non-management position offering $22.78 - $28.36 per hour.
