Position Description: Human Resources Coordinator

Desired Skills and Qualifications:

  • College or University Courses in Human Resources
  • Must have previous Tim Hortons and/or Quick Service Restaurant Experience
  • Must have solid communication, organizational, and team relations
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times and follow company policies

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to):

  • Communicating with Restaurant Management regarding Vacancies
  • Posting Job Ads as per the Company Standards
  • Sorting through applications and contacting individuals for interviews
  • Conducting in-person or online interviews with qualified candidates
  • Checking References for Candidates
  • Calling Candidates to offer positions and setup Orientation times
  • Conducting Orientations
  • Creating Employee Profiles within Clearview
  • Record Keeping and General Office Paperwork
  • Tracking Monthly Team Member Review Status
  • Tracking Restaurant Health and Safety Orientation Completion
  • Facilitate training in restaurants with new and existing Team Members
  • Assist with company marketing initiatives including installing POP materials
  • Communicate with Managers about New Hires and Training Schedules
  • Prepare New Hire Paperwork
  • Maintain and create Team Member files
  • Activate accounts for New Hires on FRUM, 7Shifts, Clearview, etc.
  • Assist in restaurants as needed
  • Update information in the Applicant Tracking System
  • Office Administration Tasks such as filing, photocopying
  • Other HR Projects and Tasks as required

REQUIREMENTS

  • College or University Courses in Human Resources
  • Must have previous Tim Hortons and/or Quick Service Restaurant Experience
  • Must have solid communication, organizational, and team relations
  • Must be a self-starter and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times and follow company policies
