Bi-weekly payment through direct deposit Free tasty Coffee & beverages Paid statutory holidays+ vacation benefit +insurance benefit Enhance training opportunities in job-related field Duties and Responsibilities: Application scoping — own requirements gathering for assigned opportunities, working from customer emails, RFQs, drawings, and specifications. Use AI to draft structured requirements (knowns, unknowns, assumptions, risks); validate and challenge the draft; fill gaps via customer conversation. Solution drafting — produce technical solutions (product selection, measurement strategy, topology, communications, integration) using Claude and the Application Matrix as drafting partner. Validate AI output, identify edge cases, and own the final recommendation. Customer technical engagement — co-lead and lead customer technical calls and reviews at the appropriate level for the opportunity. Use AI to prepare briefs and recaps; lead the room in person. Application Matrix contributions — produce ongoing entries to the Application Matrix and AE-facing knowledge base (application overviews, technical details, internal training material, email templates). Each contribution becomes training material for the AE Agent. CRM and opportunity record integrity — clean, validated entries with logic and assumptions captured automatically from drafted artefacts. Cross-functional partnership — surface product gap feedback to Product Management; partner with Engineering on complex technical questions; partner with Sales on opportunity progression. Ensure Occupational Health and Safety compliance with health and safety laws and regulations Follow all procedures in compliance of Accuenergy (Canada) Inc standard policy and operation regulations. Any other operation-related responsibilities may be added as company continues to grow. Qualifications and Requirements: Must-have Daily, evidenced fluency with modern AI tools (Claude or equivalent) for technical drafting, requirements extraction, document review, and analysis. Candidates should be prepared to discuss specific examples of AI-leveraged work in the interview process and should expect a live AI-leveraged exercise as part of the assessment. Demonstrable willingness to validate and challenge AI output rather than pass it through. The Application Specialist's actual job is judgment on top of AI drafts, not manual production of artefacts. Customer-facing comfort and willingness to lead technical conversations at the appropriate level. The role is in customer calls, technical reviews, and supplier conversations every week. Technical fundamentals — electrical engineering, power systems, instrumentation, controls, or comparable — at a level that supports productive technical conversations from Day 30. Strong candidates without a deep technical background must demonstrate proven ability to learn technical material quickly (with AI as accelerant). Strong written communication. The role produces written briefs, requirements sheets, technical justifications, and Application Matrix entries continuously. Comfort owning a quantified KPI scorecard and the discipline to publish on cadence. Direct, decisive working style. Comfort giving and receiving candid feedback without ceremony. Preferred Manufacturing or B2B technical product environment; familiarity with the rhythm of physical-product technical sales. Prior exposure to power metering, energy management, building management, EV infrastructure, data centres, BESS, or related industrial domains. Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Sales Hub, Salesforce, Zoho, or comparable) and ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or comparable). Prior contribution to AI / automation initiatives — workflow re-engineering, process automation, agent or RPA contribution. Direct experience reading engineering drawings and specifications. Will not be a fit Candidates who view AI tools as a side competency or occasional helper rather than the throughput engine of the role. Candidates who prefer to work manually because they distrust AI, and who view the role as a traditional pre-sales technical support position. Candidates who require an environment with extensive process documentation, multi-layer approvals, or insulation from direct cross-functional friction. Candidates whose track record reflects throughput by manual effort rather than by leverage.
